Roy has over twenty years of experience in acquisitions, divestitures, corporate finance, business development and strategic planning for low to mid market companies. Roy has acted as a Principal or facilitator in over 100 transactions.

Roy has provided corporate advisory and capital raising of equity for early stage growth companies.  For later stage companies, Roy has secured joint venture, strategic investment and recapitalization transactions for clients looking for growth, liquidity or exit strategies.  Drawing on a unique combination of experiences in M&A along with his operating management expertise, Roy has the ability to both evaluate and assist clients with financial and operational issues across a broad range of industries.  Working with the owners and senior managers of privately held businesses, Roy always looks to increase the valuation of the business and the wealth of their personal holdings before a sale.

Most recently, Roy was the CFO of Vantage Capital Corp., a private equity venture fund that worked with and funded companies in variety of sectors including real estate, Technology/Software, gaming and entertainment.

Prior to Vantage Capital, Roy was a Managing Director with MASI Ltd. a Chicago M&A firm serving Middle-market companies in a variety of sectors including  telecommunications, medical, technology, software, film development, music licensing, sports agency, exhibit manufacturing and industrial manufacturing.  Roy worked with corporate clients and management teams seeking growth capital, acquisitions, divestitures or turnaround advice. In addition to advisory and merger and acquisition transaction engagements, Roy worked on many capital raising engagements totaling in excess of $400 million dollars.

As a Principal, Roy was a founder and executive of Miltel Corporation, a CLEC level provider of long distance telephone service for the Hispanic market with 15 offices in 5 states.  Roy was also a Principal, executive and primary driving force of the national expansion of the Chippendales nightclub chain. Roy began his career as a commercial lender at Union Bank, a middle market business bank serving Southern California.

Roy attended the University of Southern California on a full engineering scholarship and earned his B.S. in Finance. At 6’ 9 inch Roy is the largest polo player in North America.
