John Gleason, Managing Director
"As professional M & A intermediaries, our passion and empathy emanates from assisting clients to accomplish their American Dream. Our success is directly tied to our clear understanding of clients’ objectives and lifelong goals. We recognize each of our clients has taken a unique and distinctive, often arduous, path to success in their careers."
For the past 11 years, John has been Senior Business Intermediary, then Vice President and finally Senior Vice President covering the Northeast US, Quebec and Ontario Regions with twelve direct reports, for one of the nation’s largest Mergers and Acquisitions firms, based in New York City. In these roles, John has been transaction originator or team-leader on numerous transactions across North America. During these years, John was called upon to assist with deal structure and strategy and was instrumental in pre- and post-closing scenarios for his clients.
Prior to his experience in M&A, John Gleason was a military brat as a youth and later a successful entrepreneur. John attended the University of Massachusetts at Boston and later Northeastern University in Boston for commercial printing operations. In the eighties, John bootstrapped, financed and co-founded Bay State Press in Framingham, MA, which soon became one of the state’s fastest growing and largest commercial printers. From 1993-1997 the company was one of the fifty fastest growing printers in the United States and had become a Johnson and Johnson vendor with 100 plus employees, with clients such as NStar, Fidelity, Putnam, State Street Global Research, Boston College and Mathworks.
