Dana Narlee, Partner
Dana Narlee brings 29 years of commercial and industrial real estate experience to Briggs Capital Real Estate that encompasses virtually every aspect of the business, including marketing, development, management, acquisitions, dispositions and direct ownership.
Prior to joining Briggs Capital Real Estate, Dana founded Pearson Associates, Inc., a commercial and industrial real estate brokerage and management firm that focuses on properties located in the Boston area. Over the past 18 years, Pearson Associates has distinguished itself as the premiere brokerage firm for transactions within Boston, but located outside the Downtown area. Pearson Associates has transacted millions of square feet of leasing and sales in this area and more transactions than any other commercial brokerage firm.
Also during this time Dana became involved in acquiring commercial and industrial real estate for his own account. He purchased and sold a number of properties, retaining some. Each acquisition resulted in substantially elevated returns on investment.
Prior to forming Pearson Associates, Dana headed up investment sales, as Vice President of Whittier Partners, the largest commercial real estate firm in New England at the time. The firm was subsequently merged and became CB Richard Ellis, the largest commercial real estate firm in the world. He was personally involved in the brokerage of hundreds of millions of dollars of commercial real estate, including large development land parcels.
Dana started his carrier in the real estate management business, co-managing 3,500,000 square feet of commercial, retail and industrial properties located in Boston. The properties were owned jointly by P & O Trading Company of the UK and Rose Associates out of New York. Dana oversaw management and lease negotiations for over 400 existing tenants, along with marketing, leasing and tenant improvements for numerous new tenants. This was a transitional period in the 150 year history of the firm and Dana worked on the design and implementation of a master planned redevelopment to transform over a 1,000,000 square feet of industrial space into office, retail and residential space. Dana negotiated and oversaw the first building rehabilitated to office use.
